to the Beluha mountain

Price per man from
group that consists of:
6-8 men - 460 u.c..; 3-5 men - 660 u.c..; 2 men
- 890 u.c..; 1 man - 1600 u.c..;
The price must include: 12 days in high mountains,
ascents and tracking accompanied by skilled instructors
according to the programme; pack horses; all transfer`s
services; board and lodging; accomodation in a
hotel during going back; parting dinner; insurance
- policy (in case of an accident it includes life-saving
works with help of helicopter. Price doesn`t include
cool drinks and drinks with alcohol. |
Requirements:
This ascent requires definite training in mountain
climbing, it can be good for travellers been already
in mountain region. Minimal experience of fulfilled
mountain ascents is desirable, but it is not necessary
condition. Ascents are fulfilled under the leadership
of the skilled guides, who work regularly through
this itinerary and who train mountain climbing.
In any case it is necessary to be fit and hard-bitten.
Preliminary consultation with the doctor is recommended:
the altitude grows to1000m through last stage of
the ascent. Disregard of comfort. |

Outfit:
Good warm waterproof boots for mountain climbing
(mounts for boots are required). Sleeping bag keeping
warmth if the temperature is below 12 degrees С.
Outfit for mountain climbing (approximate list:
downy coat with hood, waistcoat, waterproof costume
with hood that protects from wind, trousers made
of synthepone, sweater, warm gloves, knitted cap),
rucksack containing 90-110l, rucksack in occasion
of storm, rug. As for power nutrition it is advisable
to take food additions and vitamines. It is good
to have your own climber`s outfit. In any case our
firm gives you necessary outfit. |
Tour`s features:
Beluha mountain (4506 m) is the highest peak of
Siberia. Ascent to this mountain isn`t hard for
skilled climbers. In any case our instructors will
train the participants all necessary skills of mountain
climbing. However, you should be fit, hard-bitten
and have a strong will to ascents to the mountains.
Besides, It is important to remember about mountain
sickness, which endurance depends on individuality.
Its first symptoms to Altai can appear on the altitude
of 2500 m. The itinerary made so that our participants
have enough time for comparatively good acclimatization.
The weather changes often to Beluha, it is mainly
bad. That`s why the success of an ascent to this
mountain depends mostly on weather condition. |
Programme of realization of the tour:
1-st day:
Arrival to Barnaul. Deplacement to the office. Breakfast.
Then transfer to a touristic complex "Ivolga".
The passage lasts about 6 hours. Accomodation in
cottages among fir-trees forest (double-bedded rooms,
a private shower-bath, a lavatory).
2-d day:
Passage to a village "Tungur" lasts about
8 hours. Accomodations in tents of the camping named
"Visotnik" - (850 m above sea level).
Camp-fire. From this moment the participants spend
all nights in tents. Our guides cook meals on fire.
3-d and 4-th days:
Loading of the equipment and provisions to the pack
horses. The participants carry personal outfit in
their rucksacks. Then 2-days long tracking and at
the same time a good phase of acclimatization begins.
The participants travel, accompanied by our guides
and pack horses, through the pass named "Kuzuyak"(1340
m above sea level), along the river named Ak-Kem,
to achieve our base camping which is on the bank
of Ak-Kem` lake (2150 m above sea level).
5-th day:
Our base camping near Ak-Kem` lake. Discussion of
the tactics and technique of ascents` fulfilments.
Trial trainings on rocks and on glaciers. Walks.
Acclimatization. Preparation of the equipement.
6-th day:
Trial ascent to the hills near Beluha mountain.
Ways of further actions depending on weather conditions:
a) ascent to Ak-Kaiuk mountain (3670 m); b) ascent
to Bronislava mountain (3290 m). These two ascents
can be fulfilled from the point named "Valley
of seven lakes" through the pass of the same
name up to the peak.
7-th day:
Preparation for the ascent to Beluha mountain. After
dinner - going to the cabin named "Tomskie`
stands" that is situated on Ak-Kem` glacier.
This ascent lasts 5 hours.
8-th day:
Going out of the camping early in the morning (at
5 a.m.). Ascent to the pass named "Delone"
that lasts about 3-5 hours. Then our participants
cross snowy field of the glacier named "Mensu"
up to Berelskoe` saddle (3520 m). Night in tents.
The nocturnal temperature in summer is about -10
degrees C.
9-th day:
The participants begin to ascend to the peak at
4 a.m. or a little bit later. It lasts 5 hours.
The snowy and glacial hillside is enough precipitous
but isn`t difficult for ascending. After such a
long ascent our participants are on the highest
peak of Siberia. If the weather is fine it would
be possible to have a 30-minutes long recreation.
Going back to our camping, "Tomskie` stands"
that are situated on Ak-Kem` glacier
10-th day:
Going down to the camping situated on Ak-Kem` lake.
Going to a bath-house. Free time.
11-th - 13 th days:
Tracking through mountain forests and steppes with
light-weight rucksacks, having crossed the pass,
named Kara-Turek (3050 m), along the river Kucherla
to achieve a village Tungur.
14-th day:
Arrival to the camping, named "Visotnik"
(Tungur). Going to a bath-house. Parting dinner.
Camp-fire. Night in tents.
15-th day:
Going back through Chuiskiy` track. Arrival to Barnaul.
Transfer to the hotel "Barnaul"(double-bedded
rooms, private shower-bath, lavatory, TV.). Parting
dinner.
16-th day:
Transfer to the airport. A take-off time to Moscow
at 8.50 (regional time).Our guides can change the
itinerary because of weather conditions, which can
threaten the safety of our tourists.
